🏞️ Beijing's Hidden Wonderland! I've discovered this "Emerald Forest" in Yanqing's Hundred-Mile Gallery!
🔝 Reasons to Visit
A little Switzerland on Beijing's outskirts! Only 25 yuan to explore the entire landscape painting
Wild waterfalls + karst cave wonders = the ultimate summer escape in the capital💦
📍 Address & Directions
X002 (Sisha Road), Yanqing District, Beijing
🚗 Driving Tips:
1. Take Jingzang Expressway → Yanqing urban area → Changchi Road → Sisha Road (about 2 hours total)
2. Turn right when you see the blue sign for "Dishuihu Scenic Area," parking is free!
🌊 Hiking Route
Day 1️⃣
09:00 Enter Dishuihu Scenic Area → Wild Waterfall Viewing Platform (10 min)
10:30 Explore Wulong Gorge (the karst cave is incredibly stunning!)
12:00 Picnic on the lakeside wooden boardwalk (bringing your own food is more cost-effective)
📸 Photo Spots
1️⃣ Second-level waterfall platform
Stand on the rocks and shoot wide-angle to capture the same martial arts vibe as "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon"
2️⃣ Stalactites at the cave entrance
Use flash to shoot silhouettes, instantly boosting the mysterious atmosphere
⚠️ Tips to Avoid Trouble
• The cave floor is slippery! Be sure to wear non-slip shoes
• No shops inside the scenic area, remember to bring enough bottled water
• The waterfall lighting is best after 4 PM, but don’t miss the last shuttle bus
🍃 Nearby Activities
• Petrified Wood National Geopark (8 minutes by car)
• Hundred-Mile Countryside Popular Homestay (book at least 1 week in advance!)
