Visit to Izu Kogen Beer Main Store

I visited the main store of Izu Kogen Beer, famous for its Fisherman's Marinated Bowl.
During my trip to Izu, I wanted to try a seafood bowl, so I decided to visit Izu Kogen Beer Main Store!

This restaurant is renowned for its towering "Fisherman's Marinated Bowl," but they also offer a variety of other delicious bowls such as seafood bowls, shirasu bowls, and salmon roe bowls...

With so many tempting options, choosing your meal is part of the fun at this place!

You can choose the portion size for the rice, but keep in mind that a regular serving includes one full bowl of rice per mini bowl! Opting for a smaller portion might make it easier to finish everything 🙆♀️
※ Even for someone like me who eats a lot, the regular serving left me completely stuffed 😂

I tried the Two-Bowl Set, and even though the Marinated Bowl was a mini size, its towering presentation made a big impression! It was topped with luxurious ingredients like tuna, salmon, and salmon roe, making it both visually stunning and delicious.

The Suruga Bowl featured shirasu (whitebait) and shrimp, and it was incredibly tasty!!! I don’t usually eat this much shirasu on rice, so it was a satisfying treat on its own!

However, most seafood bowl options exceed 2,000 yen, so if you plan to order additional side dishes, the price can add up quickly... 🥹

In terms of cost-performance, it’s not the best, but considering the portion size and taste, I highly recommend it!
