A must-visit art district when you come to Beijing! The 798 and 751 art parks are separated by just one street, with 749 in the middle. The entire area is covered with graffiti walls that are really abundant and beautiful. You can spend a whole day exploring without getting bored, and the best part is the photos come out amazing📸!
🖼️ Art District Tour Route
📍798 Art District (No. 4 Jiuxianqiao Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing)
Really great to explore! The old factory buildings transformed into art spaces have a special vibe. Graffiti walls and sculptures are everywhere, and any casual shot looks like a masterpiece. The best part is it’s open all day with no rush, various art exhibitions rotate regularly, and most are free🆓.
📍751 Art District (751 Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing)
An art district with a strong industrial style, the steel pipes and old locomotives make for fantastic photo spots! There are often design exhibitions and fashion week events. Even if you don’t buy tickets, it’s worth taking photos outside.
🍴 What to Eat
✅ There are many trendy cafes and brunch spots inside 798
✅ Several good Western restaurants along the street
✅ A 10-minute walk to Wangjing business district, where you can choose Korean or Japanese cuisine
❗ Useful Tips
1. Both art districts are open all day. It’s recommended to visit 798 in the morning and 751 in the afternoon.
2. Wearing plain-colored clothes makes your photos stand out more.
3. Weekends are crowded; if you want to see exhibitions, it’s better to go on weekdays.
4. There are few convenience stores in the park, but there is a 7-11.
