Yanqi Lake in Huairou: The Little Switzerland of Beijing Suburbs Lives Up to Its Name

We went to the Yanqi Lake West Mountain Trail. You can also cycle by the lake, and there are recreational facilities, but it is widely recognized that climbing West Mountain offers the most beautiful views of Yanqi Lake.
Navigate to the P5 parking lot and enter through Gate 2. Walking to the end at Gate 6 is 8 km, but you can also descend halfway from Gate 3. It is said that the best scenery is near Gate 3 at Lingyan Huiming.
No admission fee, free of charge.
