Beijing Forbidden Palace

If you’re planning to visit the Forbidden City during winter, bundle up as it gets freezing cold!

✨ Tips before you go:
– Wear thermal layers and windproof outerwear (the open courtyards can be icy cold!)
– Bring a thermos for hot drinks ☕
– Wear comfy shoes with good grip (the marble floors can get VERY slippery)
– Don’t forget lip balm & hand cream. Beijing’s winter air is super dry!

Jingshan Park is just right behind the palace, don't forget to also visit the park and be extra careful because the stairs are very slippery.

The palace looks extra magical under the winter light, especially with fewer crowds, totally worth braving the cold! 🏯
