Liuxu Spring is one of Jinan's 72 famous springs. Located west of Shuyu Spring in Baotu Spring Park, the pool is a rectangular, north-south shape, 3.5 meters long, 2.3 meters wide, and 1.5 meters deep. Its walls are paved with marble and surrounded by carved white marble railings. The characters "Liuxu Spring" are engraved in the center of the eastern railing. Willows resemble women, yet Jia Baoyu describes women as being made of water. Liuxu Spring, a famous spring, embodies the graceful beauty of a willow with the lively energy of water.
Willow Catkins Spring belongs to the Baotu Spring complex. Located north of the Old Jinxian Spring, it boasts a history of nearly a thousand years, mentioned in the Jin Dynasty's "Famous Springs Stele" and in Ming and Qing Dynasty documents. Surrounded by willow trees, the spring flowers and catkins dance in a captivating display in March. The spring's name stems from the shimmering silver bubbles and clusters of flowers, creating a constant "spring foam, resembling dancing catkins" scene year-round.
Jinan has a temperate monsoon climate with obvious monsoons and distinct four seasons: dry and rainy spring, warm and rainy summer, cool and dry autumn, and cold and snowy winter.
It is recommended to play for one hour
