Sub-center Citywalk|Listening to the Voice of Civilization on the Canal

Yesterday, I participated in Tongzhou’s “Civilized Citywalk” and was healed by this immersive civilization experience!

Forty “civilized explorers” together followed the veins of the thousand-year-old canal, using a gentle walk to plant the concept of civilization deep in our hearts.

1️⃣ Grand Canal Heritage Trail
Starting with a “silent tribute,”
closing our eyes to listen to the wind blowing through leaves, birdsong, and water sounds.
It turns out that quietness is also a kind of strength.

2️⃣ AI Marathon Track
Automatically records exercise data without wearing any device,
full of a sense of technology🏃‍♀️.
Here, we learned “safe travel, fire prevention, and forest protection.”
Even exercising, remember to prioritize civilization.

3️⃣ Themed Sculpture Area
The “Gantang Mirror” and the Red Luzhong Branch sculptures
quietly tell stories of history and spirit.
We took photos with careful positioning, without touching or leaning,
showing respect for art and history through our actions.

4️⃣ Crescent-shaped Shallow Beach
Bending down to pick up a piece of trash
is the most beautiful “leave no trace gift” to the canal.
Behind the clear water and green banks
are countless people silently guarding it.

Collecting stamps from the three check-in points
also earned a beautiful Grand Canal-themed bookmark🔖.
Truly a rewarding experience!

Parents who came with their children said:
“We must bring back ‘leave only footprints, leave no traces.’”
I also want to say: civilization is not a slogan,
but every gentle whisper and every time we bend down to pick something up.
