During my Taiwan Taipei trip, I visited the Beitou Hot Springs Museum, and I didn’t expect to feel so peaceful inside a museum. The moment I entered, I was greeted by soft lighting, tatami mats, and gentle wooden textures—it felt more like a quiet retreat than a historical site.

The museum walks you through Beitou’s past, especially how hot springs became a part of everyday life. I enjoyed reading the personal stories and old photos, which made the space feel alive. It’s not a big museum, but it leaves a strong impression. A perfect stop if you’re in the area and want to slow down.
