Step Into Taiwan’s Spa History

One highlight of my Taipei trip was visiting the Beitou Hot Springs Museum. The entrance itself gave me a warm, welcoming feel with red-and-white lanterns hanging above and old-school bathhouse details inside. I didn’t expect a museum to feel so charming!

Walking through the rooms, I saw how hot springs played such a big role in Taiwanese culture. There were posters from the past, traditional wooden floors, and even a large bathhouse space that used to be in use! It felt like a blend of Japanese influence and local Taiwanese spirit. Perfect for history lovers and curious minds alike.
