Le Chateau Golf Course of Mauritius -Always a pleasure to come to the Castle and Telfair!

What a fantastic experience. The accommodation in the Villas was superb and the dining experience at the various restaurants was fantastic.
Travelled to Heritage Awali hotel for a 2 week holiday and we golfed every day at the amazing Chateau Golf Course. It is a fantastic golf course, that is kept in great condition, and it offers numerous tees to suit all standards. We had the privilege of meeting the Golf Director, Darrin Hedley, who gave us some great advice for a future golf trip to South Africa. Thank you!
The team at the course are all very hard working and incredibly welcoming - particularly being super friendly to our 9 year old (golf enthusiast!) son.
We also ate at the Golf club for lunch and dinner on various occasions - great food and very good service, particularly from Christophe. He is an asset to the team.
As for the course, it was simply magnificent. Extremely well manicured, greens were superb. The rough was tough, poor shots were penalised. This course was an absolute treat - Darren Hedley and his team (especially Nathan) went out of their way to make sure that our golf tour (16 people) went without a hitch. Carts were marked with each player, with tee times etc. provided on them.

I would highly recommend it.
