Review of Shiraike Jigoku Onsen

The Kamado Jigoku Onsen tour was truly an impressive experience. After a two-hour bus ride from Fukuoka, we arrived at Beppu Onsen Town, where hot spring water was gushing out everywhere, befitting its reputation as the city of hot springs. Beppu is particularly notable for having the highest hot spring output in Japan, and the scale and variety of its hot springs were astonishing. Among the seven hell hot springs, Shiraike Jigoku stood out with its beautiful Japanese garden theme and the unique color of its pond, which was incredibly charming. The natural scenery combined with the boiling hot spring water made for a truly unique and special experience.
