Japan solo travel 18 days Day 2 ANA InterContinental Resort Beppu

#100WaysToTravel #Japan #Beppu #BeppuAccommodation

Looking back on my 18-day solo trip to Japan in 2022 when the epidemic was just lifted

The only trip was to stay at the ANA InterContinental Beppu Resort & Spa, a hotel I had been dreaming of for a long time!!!
Take the JR from Hakata Station to Beppu Station, and you can book a shuttle bus to and from Beppu Station. Although it seems a bit marginal to live in such a big room alone, if I choose again, I will still come here because it is really comfortable!!!
The hotel is calm and quiet, which is really relaxing. Once you enter, you will see a grand lobby. You can sit down and wait to check in. You will be provided with a towel to wipe your hands and a cup of tea while waiting. When checking in, the staff will explain any matters in detail and confirm whether you understand.
After arriving at the room, I found it was really beautiful and big, very comfortable to live in. Welcome snacks and fruits were provided, the fruits were very sweet. Although I was staying alone, the welcome snacks were for two people. The bathroom was big, the bathtub was also big, and the view from the balcony was also very relaxing.
The hot springs are divided into indoor and outdoor areas. It is recommended to go to the outdoor area. It is really relaxing to soak in the hot spring while looking at the scenery of Beppu. It is recommended to go there once during the day and once at night.
For meals, my booking included breakfast and a USD 200 food and beverage credit, and dinner was room service. It was really difficult for one person to spend USD 200 on a meal, so I ordered a bottle of red wine and a bunch of desserts.
