Global Tower is a 124.375-meter-tall observation tower located in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture, and was built in 1995 as a symbol of the Beppu International Convention Center "B-Con Plaza." It features a unique design by Arata Isozaki, a world-renowned architect from Oita Prefecture.

From the observation deck located 100 meters above ground, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Beppu city, Beppu Bay, and Mount Tsurumi, which is 1,375 meters above sea level. During the day, you can enjoy the steam from the hot springs and the blue sea, and at night, you can enjoy the beautiful night view that has been certified as a "Japanese Night View Heritage", and it is said to be a popular date spot 🌃

Access:
It is located about 5 minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot from JR Beppu Station, and you can also use the underground parking lot at B-Con Plaza (1st hour free, 100 yen for each additional hour).
