This time, I stayed in Beppu for two nights, at a guesthouse with great reviews.
It was clean and spacious, and the common areas and reception felt spacious!
The guesthouse and staff were stylish, and while I felt a bit out of place, I had a comfortable stay.
The baths seemed to be well-supplied with hot spring water.

It's right in front of the ocean, so I took a walk along the shore in the morning. The east-facing coastline makes for a beautiful sunrise.
If you're staying in Beppu, definitely try this place!
