✨️Bhaktapur is about 20 kilometers from Kathmandu. We took a taxi for 1,000 rupees.

✨️The original palace in Bhaktapur, Nepal🇳🇵This square was the residence of the Malla kings of Nepal from the 14th to 15th centuries and the kings of the Bhaktapur Kingdom from the 15th to the late 18th centuries until the kingdom was defeated in 1769.

✨️Currently, this square has been certified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The Department of Archaeology of Nepal and the Bhaktapur Municipality jointly take care of it and are undergoing major restoration due to damage from the 1934 and 2015 earthquakes.
