[Hokkaido: Biei Area] A magnificent view of blue! Shirokane Blue Pond

I went to Shirogane Blue Pond, one of the most popular sightseeing spots you can't miss when visiting Furano and Biei. The spectacular blue scenery was even more beautiful than I imagined. Not only is it crowded to see the pond, but the parking lot to get there is also very crowded. To ease congestion, a median strip will be installed from August 7th to October 31st, 2024, and right turns will be prohibited. Please head through in front of Shirogane Building. Parking fees must be paid in advance!

It seems to be relatively quiet in the morning, but be prepared for crowds.
