A Soulful 3D2N Recharge

I just came back from a 3D2N stay at The Residence Bintan, and it was exactly what I needed to reset mentally and emotionally. The entire experience was calming, thoughtful, and beautifully curated — perfect for a soul-recharging getaway.

I stayed in the Upper Garden View Room, which was spacious, quiet, and surrounded by lush greenery. The room was well-kept with a clean and cozy vibe, and I especially enjoyed relaxing on the balcony with the peaceful sounds of nature in the background.

During my stay, I joined the Healer Traditional Spa session — a deeply grounding experience that left me feeling renewed. I also took part in a yoga class, which was gentle yet energizing, and joined both the Earth Basket activity and the Farm Tour, which connected me to the resort’s sustainable practices and local culture in a meaningful way.

The food was absolutely delicious. I dined at both Rica Rica, the resort’s local cuisine restaurant, and The Dining Room, and every meal was a delight. At Rica Rica, I loved the kerepok (crackers) paired with their signature chili — such a great combination! The Ayam Bakar Penyet was a personal favorite — tender, flavorful, and perfectly grilled.

The breakfast buffet was impressive—diverse, delicious, and to my delight, it even included teh tarik!

On the second day, the breakfast setup was elevated with a semi-buffet concept. While a curated à la carte menu was available to ensure freshness and quality. It was a lovely touch that made the morning meal feel more personalised and luxurious.

The staff were kind, attentive, and genuine in their service, always greeting with a smile and making me feel truly cared for.

If you’re looking for a peaceful escape to reconnect with yourself and nature, The Residence Bintan is a wonderful choice. I left feeling calm, centered, and deeply refreshed.
