A weekend around the Victoria square and the city centre in Birmingham

During my visit to Birmingham, I explored some of the city’s most notable landmarks and cultural spots. I began at the Library of Birmingham, an impressive modern building offering great views of the city and a calm atmosphere perfect for reflection. From there, I visited the Hall of Memory, a moving tribute to those who served in the wars, followed by a stop at The Exchange and the Birmingham Museum of Art, where I spent some time appreciating the diverse collections and local exhibits.

Later, I wandered through the lively Chinese Quarter, browsing a few local shops and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. I grabbed some delicious grilled chicken from the food stalls, which made for a tasty break. My walk then took me to the Chinese Pagoda roundabout, set in front of the Cleveland Tower, a striking and familiar Birmingham landmark.

To wrap up the day, I stopped by The Shakespeare Inn, a cozy traditional pub near my stop, where I enjoyed a well-earned pint and reflected on a day well spent exploring the city.
