Chongqing Ritz-Carlton Lixury|City Center Overlooking Night View🌃 | During a short stopover in Chongqing, I exchanged points for a night at the Ritz-Carlton Lixury, and the experience far exceeded expectations.
🏘️ Room Type/Layout:
The hotel lobby is located on the 69th floor, with rooms downstairs. The points room was successfully upgraded to a 270-degree corner room. Although this room does not have a view of Raffles City and the confluence of the three rivers, it offers a view of Jiefangbei. The entire lobby and corridors use a light white tone, making it clean and bright, which contrasts sharply with hotels that pursue a "luxury feel" but decorate in darker tones.
Entering the room, from the color scheme to the design, it is hard not to feel it is very similar to the Harbin R&F Ritz-Carlton. The same blue elements, light orange small cabinets, solid wood cupboards, and the bathroom are almost identical, even the room key card is a similar light blue. I didn’t take separate photos of the room this time, but I will capture some screenshots from the room tour video later to share the experience with everyone.
🛌 Amenities/Facilities:
The hotel’s executive corridor is on the 69th floor, offering light meals from 5 to 7 pm. The gym is on the 66th floor, with very good conditions, a decent size, plenty of cardio equipment, and some strength training machines, fully meeting exercise needs during business trips or travel. The view is excellent, directly facing Raffles City. However, the hotel does not have a swimming pool.
💰 Average Cost per Person:
The hotel is located in the Global Financial Center, relatively new, with prices around the low four-digit range.
💗 Other Tips:
- Dining: Breakfast is overall good. Although it’s not very diverse or particularly outstanding, it maintains a decent standard with options like Xiaomian and mixed noodle bowls (though the taste is slightly inferior to Conrad).
- Service: The service is excellent. Everyone recognizes the service at Chongqing Regent, and the service at this Ritz-Carlton Lixury is equally impressive. Whether it’s every staff member you pass by, or those in the gym, dining area, front desk, or doorman, they are all very thoughtful and enthusiastic. Perhaps because there were fewer guests during the stay, but the attentive service was truly felt.
- Location: The hotel’s location is excellent, and the upgrade policy is quite flexible. Considering its location, cost performance, views, and service are all commendable.
Summary:
Chongqing Ritz-Carlton Lixury is a highly recommended hotel to stay at in Chongqing. The service is attentive and thoughtful, the scenery is superb with a great location for river views, and the breakfast is relatively rich. For this price range, it is a very good choice and definitely worth visiting again.
