Changzhou Liu Haisu Art Museum, located in Shuangguifang Ancient Street in the center of Changzhou, has the dual functions of a modern art museum and a celebrity memorial hall. It is a multifunctional, multi-dimensional three-dimensional art center that is compatible with exhibitions, collections, exchanges, research and popularization of aesthetic education.

The museum houses a rich collection of works. In addition to 50 representative works of Liu Haisu from various periods ( 15 oil paintings, 33 Chinese paintings , and 2 calligraphy works), it also houses more than 600 works by contemporary calligraphers and painters such as Guan Shanyue, Ya Ming, Song Wenzhi, and Cheng Shifa .

Liu Haisu was a founder of modern Chinese art, a pioneer of the New Art Movement, and an outstanding art educator. Throughout his artistic career, spanning over 80 years, he mastered both Chinese and Western learning, and mastered both ancient and modern art. He created numerous masterpieces, earning worldwide acclaim for the Chinese nation. In his later years, he donated to the nation, free of charge, the collection of rare and valuable works by renowned artists, which he had painstakingly collected and preserved, as well as his own works.
