Lake Issyk-Kul in autumn

I went to Lake Issyk-Kul in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan during the off-season. Lake Issyk-Kul is the second largest lake in the world and is a popular summer resort with many visitors. The off-season was in October, an awkward time of autumn when it was too cold to swim, but there was no snow to be seen, and I didn't see a single tourist. Although it was quiet and lonely, it was a wonderful experience to enjoy the lake and the autumn leaves on a deserted beach. The off-season has its own merits.
