Iceland Golden Circle Attractions | Strokkur Geysir, erupts every 10 minutes

The three major attractions of Iceland's Golden Circle are geysers (Strokkur Geysir, Geysir), Gullfoss Waterfall, and Thingvellir National Park. Today we came to one of the three major attractions, Strokkur Geysir.


The cause is probably the magma activity under Iceland, which heats the groundwater. When the water is heated and the pressure increases, it will erupt, which is the landscape we see today.

Because the Geysir geyser has completely stopped erupting, but there is still a small stone with his name engraved on it next to it.
Geysir is the first geyser to erupt and the first geyser discovered in Europe. It erupts up to 70 meters, but the highest record has been broken to 170 meters. It is super awesome.
(Strokkur is only 50 meters away from Geysir. This time I only saw the eruption at that moment and had no chance to go up and see more.)
