Autumn at Þingvellir National Park was absolutely magical — a perfect mix of golden leaves, crisp air, and dramatic Icelandic landscapes. Walking along the wooden pathways between towering cliffs felt surreal, knowing this was where two tectonic plates meet. The sweeping views of the valley, dotted with fall colors and calm rivers, were breathtaking from every angle.
I took a quiet break on the steps overlooking the rugged terrain — the chill in the air balanced by my cozy jacket and warm beanie. It was one of those peaceful moments where time slows down, and you simply soak in the beauty around you.
Ending the visit at Öxarárfoss waterfall was the highlight — powerful yet serene, cascading against black volcanic rocks. Þingvellir in autumn truly captures the heart of Iceland — wild, beautiful, and full of soul.
