Worship the Buddha's footprint, have faith in the Naga at Wangri Kiriwanwararam Temple

#GetDiscountsWithoutLuck

This trip, we intended to find a peaceful place to make merit, so we decided to drive to Wat Wang Ri Kiriwan Wararam in Bo Thong District, Chonburi Province. This temple is nestled in a natural setting amidst the mountains. The road is quite long and winding, but the road is lined with lush greenery. It felt refreshing even before we reached the temple. 🍃 Upon arrival, the first thing we saw was a pair of large Thao Wessuwan statues towering in front of the temple. It felt so sacred that we had to stop and pay our respects before entering. 🙏 Inside, there's the black Naga statue "Saensiri Chanthanakarat," which many believers come to pray for blessings. We didn't forget to light incense and pray to ourselves. The atmosphere was peaceful and gave us a little goosebumps. Another impressive sight was the Buddha's footprint on the mountaintop. It was quite a tiring climb up the stairs. Besides paying homage to the Buddha's footprint, we also saw a view of the surrounding mountains and a cool breeze. Before heading back, we stopped at the temple's cave, which is called "Tiger Cave." It gave us goosebumps as we entered. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful. Inside, the walls are studded with patterns resembling real tigers and there are stalactites resembling shapes. The hermit is meditating. It's amazing!
This temple isn't crowded on weekdays. If you're looking for a place to make merit amidst nature and experience the Naga spirit, I highly recommend visiting at least once. 💛
