An Unforgettable Experience with a Few Tweaks Needed

Absolutely wonderful. Words can't fully capture the overall experience—it was fantastic. The food was amazing， the resort's layout and amenities were excellent， and the staff were first-class—friendly， approachable， knowledgeable， creating a great atmosphere—especially our butler Yabo. Yabo was attentive and responsive， going beyond expectations to make our stay exceptional. Staying at the Ozen Reserve was a true pleasure. That being stated， there are areas for improvement that could elevate my 4-star rating to a 5-star. Firstly， while the villa was magnificent (the sea access and coral reef for snorkeling were breathtaking， with amazing sea life)， it wasn't designed with humidity in mind. Every AC unit was condensing air and leaking everywhere—we couldn't even control or turn off AC to stop the leaks. The lighting system was also problematic; the switches were overly complex or not functioning properly， so simpler switches would be beneficial. Secondly， getting around the island was easy thanks to Yabo and the electric buggies， but the buggies were poorly maintained and outdated， seemingly not equipped for heavy rain and wind. The pool table at the Ozar bar also needed upgrading. It was quite outdated， the cues weren't in good shape， the table didn't function well， and there was a notable shortage of chalk for the cues. These are minor issues that didn't detract from the overall experience， which was fantastic. It was an incredibly memorable trip and we plan to return. We were well taken care of (constantly restocking the booze bar in the villa)， the surroundings were breathtaking， and the stay was deeply relaxing.
