๐Ÿ˜Šโœจ Bologna: A Day Trip Full of Surprises ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡นโ˜•๐ŸŒธ

I took a day trip from Mestre to Bologna by bus ๐ŸšŒ. I tried Itabus this time, but the ride was delayed by 2 hours โณโ€ฆ so hereโ€™s my honest tip: if you want to save time, go with FlixBus instead. Itโ€™s a little more expensive, but much more reliable โ€” and you can even catch the last bus from Bologna back to Mestre to stretch your day.

Even without visiting museums, Bologna charmed me with its city vibe โ€” endless galleries, red rooftops, and that unmistakable energy. I enjoyed a coffee break โ˜• while watching locals stroll by, and of course, indulged in plenty of calories (because Bologna is food heaven ๐Ÿ๐Ÿท).

One of the sweetest moments was stumbling upon a beautiful flower shop Verde Oliva , run by a talented designer originally from Russia ๐ŸŒธ. A short conversation with her made the day extra special.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Bologna is best enjoyed by slowing down, wandering under its historic arcades, and letting little surprises find you ๐Ÿ’™.
