This trip to Huizhou, I specifically chose the Minmetals Hallstatt Jinlan Resort Hotel. As soon as I arrived at the hotel entrance, I could feel the excellent environment—lots of greenery around, with the fresh scent of grass in the air 🌿.
Check-in was quick, and the front desk staff were gentle and patiently introduced the hotel facilities to me. I stayed in a scenic king room, and the first impression upon entering was how spacious it was—nearly 40 square meters. The bed was neatly made with crisp white sheets that felt soft to the touch. Lying down, I found the mattress had just the right amount of elasticity—very comfortable 😌. By the window, there was a small coffee table with two chairs. Drawing back the curtains, I had a clear view of the garden outside, with its neatly arranged trees, flowers, and occasional birds flying by.
After settling in, I explored the hotel. The gym on the 3rd floor had treadmills, dumbbells, and other equipment, all looking quite new. My favorite was the indoor heated pool—the water was crystal clear. I swam a few laps, and the temperature stayed pleasantly warm. Resting by the pool afterward felt incredibly relaxing 💦.
Right next to the hotel is the Minmetals Hallstatt Cultural Tourism Town, just a few minutes' walk away. The town's buildings are all in European style, with pointed roofs and colorful walls. Walking along the cobblestone paths felt like being abroad. In the center of the town is a lake with clear water where you can even go boating 🚣. There are many unique little shops by the lake—I bought a few handmade souvenirs and tried a local specialty tea.
I spent two leisurely days here and felt a bit reluctant to leave. If I get the chance, I’ll definitely come back to stay again!
