Syrian mosaics, to Egyptian mummies

One of the best kept secrets in Bruxelles. To see the whole museum, you’d need a day! It’s not the most modern museum presentation wise, but its content is well preserved. From the Syrian mosaics, to their Egyptian mummies, their cloister and real Easter Island head, this museum is a joy to visit. Not too crowded and a hop and skip from two metros. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely stunning museum with a fabulous variety of exhibitions from all over the world. The building in itself is fabulous and I got to see so many things from different parts of the world that I had never seen before. The staff were lovely and kind as well. I went on a Friday afternoon and it was so quiet in some parts of the museum I felt like I had it all to myself. (Did get a little spooked by the basement, did not realise there would be a grave site, but even though it did give me goosebumps, it was incredible to see!)
Tried not to post too many photos of the actual exhibitions so that the surprise won’t be ruined for people who don’t want to see - mostly just photos of the halls.
