🇧🇪Recommended spots to visit on a solo trip to Brussels, Belgium for 2 days and 1 night!

#Train trip to Belgium on the #Eurostar from #London St. Pancras Station! 😙

It takes about 2 hours from London to #Brussel-Zuid/Midi station! European countries are closer than you think. ㅎㅎㅎ
The advantage of train travel is that the station is in the city center, so you don't have to go all the way to the airport 3 hours before your flight.😆

📍PIERRE MARCOLINI
#Pierre Marcolini is a Belgian chocolatier of Italian descent who has dedicated 20 years of his life to chocolate.

A champion patisserie, he first opened his eponymous chocolate shop, PIERRE MARCOLINI, in Belgium and subsequently opened boutiques in Tokyo, Paris, and London. :)

The store's pretty flower decorations are eye-catching! But what about the taste?

Belgium is a mecca for chocolate, so there are many competing brands throughout the city. Pierre Marcolini's prices felt higher than others. There were quite a few varieties, and this was my first time trying truffle chocolate. I honestly don't remember the taste 😂 I wrapped it up and put it in my pocket, but it was already too melted to taste... I'm thinking of going back to the London branch when I have time. It'll probably taste similar anyway, lol. Anyway, the ice cream was delicious, although a bit sweet :)

📍Musée Magritte
#Surrealism master #René Magritte was from Belgium!! That's why there's a #MagritteMuseum in Brussels😄
There are several buildings here, so I had a bit of a hard time finding the entrance lol; Head towards the museum and enter the first building on the left!
Magritte often painted paintings that were both creative and realistic, making you think, "What would happen if this happened in real life?" It's definitely worth a visit, as it stimulates your imagination :)

📍Maison Dandoy - Galeries
#MaisonDandoy, located inside a luxurious arcade!! Belgian waffles come in two main varieties: the square #Brusselswaffle and the round #Liègewaffle. You can try both at #MaisonDandois :)

I chose the Fruity Jeanneke-pis #LiègeWaffle!
Jeanneke-pis is actually the younger sister of Manneken Pis, lol. The name is hilarious! 🤭
The taste is seriously the best waffle I've ever had! It's incredibly chewy! I actually came to Belgium just to eat this! 👀

There are various shops in the arcade where MaisonDandois is located, so it's worth taking your time and browsing! Even the glass ceiling is stylish. It's not just for rain protection; it's a design that's both stylish and practical. It's absolutely gorgeous! :)

With so many European countries to explore, not many Korean tourists visit Belgium. If you have the time, it's a great place for a quick, two-day, one-night stop. The streets are truly beautiful, with their decorative facades reminiscent of Paris, exuding a sense of antiquity yet maintaining a quiet, understated elegance.
