Bucharest City Walk

Bucharest is surprisingly walkable, especially its vibrant Old Town, a delightful maze of cobbled streets brimming with charming cafes, lively bars, and historic architecture. I loved just getting lost in its alleys, stumbling upon hidden courtyards and beautifully preserved churches like Stavropoleos Monastery.
Beyond the Old Town, Calea Victoriei is a grand avenue perfect for a leisurely stroll, showcasing an eclectic mix of architectural styles from Belle Époque elegance to Communist-era grandeur. While the city is spread out, with a good pair of shoes and a willingness to explore, you can truly soak in Bucharest's unique character and discover its many hidden gems on foot.
