The three buildings in Registan Square, like the mosques we have seen so far, are dome-shaped prayer halls inside, but when you go through each gate, you will find a square with a courtyard and several other buildings🫢✨

All three buildings are madrasahs (theological schools), but each one has its own unique decoration and a different worldview that is interesting🤍

The Ulughbek Madrasah on the left was built by the famous mathematician and astronomer Ulughbeg. As it was built in the same place, the interior is filled with astronomical elements, like outer space 🪐

On the right side, there are two large tigers painted on the gate of the Sher-Dor Madrasah 🐅🐅
In Islam, where idolatry is prohibited, it is taboo to paint living creatures, but it seems that this was a display of power, saying, "I am greater than those teachings! 💪🏻" 😧 lol

The prayer hall inside the Tira-Kari Madrasah in the center is a must-see ❕👀✨
It is so gorgeous with blue and gold.
The ceiling looks dome-shaped, but it is actually flat, apparently just painted using elaborate perspective...
No matter how you look at it, it is dome-shaped 🤣 lol
It is a place that you should definitely see with your naked eyes 😁
