A Hidden Gem Café in Uzbekistan

Let me introduce you to an absolutely charming café in the city of Bukhara, Uzbekistan!
📍AS MIR HOSTEL
Apparently, this place also operates as a hostel, but I only visited the café. While wandering through the streets of Bukhara, I stumbled upon a café sign in a small alley. As I peeked in, the owner, an elderly gentleman, beckoned me inside. Hesitant but curious, I stepped in—and what a delightful surprise it was!
The menu is simple, offering only coffee or herbal tea, which adds to its charm. The spiral staircase leading to the second floor is enchanting, and from there, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the mosque. It was truly moving! 🥺✨
Since Uzbekistan is known for its herbal tea culture and markets filled with herbs, I opted for herbal tea. It was delicious! 💓
The second floor is an open terrace, complete with carpets that look like they came straight out of Aladdin’s world. 🪔

Though it's tucked away in a slightly hard-to-find alley, this café is highly recommended! ☕️
