The Biltmore is America’s version of a grand château. Built by George Vanderbilt, it’s the largest privately-owned home in the U.S., and it shows. Touring the mansion revealed room after room of elegance, from the massive dining hall to the luxurious library. The gardens designed by Frederick Law Olmsted were stunning, especially in spring when everything was in bloom. I also loved exploring the winery on the estate, which offered tastings in a beautiful setting. The Biltmore is more than just a house — it’s a full experience of art, architecture, and history, and it shines in my #mytraveldiary.
