The colorful terraced village is Gamcheon Culture Village in Busan 🙂
Originally, after the Korean War, people who immigrated built barracks on the slopes of the mountain, and a village was formed. Then, starting with the "Dreaming Busan Machu Picchu Project" in 2009, it was transformed into a cultural district in 2010 by the "Beautiful Road Maze Project", and became a colorful redevelopment area 👀
To get there, you can take a bus right in front of Gamcheon Culture Village. Or, take a taxi from Busan Station for about 15 minutes, about 7,000 won.
There is a big difference in elevation, and many people get on the bus, so it's quite difficult if you can't get a seat on the bus 💦 If you're going with a group, a taxi might be better.
It's a very colorful and cute village with various roofs in pink, light blue, red, and orange. You can't see such colorful villages in Japan, so it made me feel good ✨
Also, depending on where you look, the view will be different and you can take photos with different atmospheres. It's called the Machu Picchu of Korea, and it's very colorful, so it's a must-visit spot on your trip to Korea🩵
