A Wonderful Experience at Ghibli Park!

Ticket Acquisition Tips and Recommended Areas!

I finally visited Ghibli Park, a place I’ve always wanted to go! 😆

If you haven’t been there yet or are planning to visit, here are some tips for you! ☺️👇

【Ticket Acquisition Tips】

⚠️ Tickets for Ghibli Park are available for reservation and purchase on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 2 PM on the 10th of each month for entry two months ahead.

⭐️Point 01
"Be Ready with Your Smartphone & Lawson’s Loppi Machine"

The fastest way to secure tickets was through Lawson’s Loppi machine! However, results may vary depending on the location. My husband and I tried to get tickets at separate Lawson stores, but I kept encountering errors and couldn’t proceed to the next screen, while my husband successfully purchased tickets. It was a good idea to work as a team! 💦

⭐️Point 02
"Log in Early When Using Your Smartphone"

If you’re using your smartphone to get tickets, it’s recommended to access the site about an hour in advance. The number of users can quickly reach tens of thousands, and it takes a long time to get to the purchase screen. 💦

【Recommended Areas】

The Grand Warehouse and Witch’s Valley were absolutely amazing! Watching the movies before visiting the park will double the excitement. ☺️ If it’s your first time, I recommend getting the premium ticket that allows access to all areas and starting your day early.

【Suggested Route】

There’s no right or wrong way to explore the park, so start with the area you’re most excited about. ☺️

However, the Grand Warehouse and Witch’s Valley are the most popular and have the most attractions to see. I personally recommend starting with:
Grand Warehouse → Witch’s Valley
or
Witch’s Valley → Grand Warehouse

These two areas can take up a lot of time if you want to explore them thoroughly. If you plan to visit all areas, it’s better to keep a good pace.

【About Restaurants】

I visited the café "Transcontinental Flight" in the Grand Warehouse. I went around noon, so it was crowded, but since most of the menu items are bread-based, the food was served quickly, and I managed to find a seat after waiting a bit. However, the taste was just okay. 😅

Later, I found out that there are food trucks in the outdoor plaza on weekends. That might have been a better option!

We visited on a Sunday in mid-May. Since there are outdoor queues, I recommend going during a cooler season. ☺️ I hope this helps with your travel planning!
