Busan Gijang Yeonhwari Haenyeo Village is a real ‘sea restaurant’ where you can choose and eat fresh seafood right in front of you. The Haenyeo catch abalone, sea cucumber, and conch and prepare them on the spot to make sashimi or boiled sashimi, and you can also eat simple meals like seaweed soup or ramen.

The place I visited was Jeong’s Haenyeo Omegame Choi’s grandmother. Even though I went alone, she was so kind and I was able to sit by the window.

I ordered a small seafood platter, which cost 30,000 won, and the side dishes and seafood were so plentiful and varied that I was very satisfied and would 1000% visit again!! I highly recommend it, so definitely go!!
