The scenic area boasts numerous attractions, including the Red Lady Reservoir, Five Dragon Gorge, Five Dragon Pond, South Sky Pillar, Little South Sea, White Dragon Cave, White Dragon Pond, Shigang Ridge, One Line of Sky, the Observation Deck, and Peach Blossom Bay. The Qiugou Scenic Area features red rock cliffs with horizontal and vertical cracks that resemble cuts from knives and axes, resembling celestial beings and beasts. The unique mountainous landscape still retains its pristine natural features.
Dozens of wild animals and birds, including Taihang macaques, leopards, badgers, wild boars, hares, pheasants, and goshawks, roam the area year-round, earning it the nickname "Natural Zoo." With hundreds of species of flowers, plants, and trees, and nearly a thousand varieties of Chinese herbal medicine, the area is also known as the "Plant Kingdom." Qiugou Scenic Area boasts a beautiful environment and pleasantly cool temperatures in midsummer, making it an ideal spot for summer vacation and leisure.
