Sequoia National Park

#holidayitinerary

Standing among the giant sequoias is a humbling experience. I knew they were big, but nothing prepared me for the sheer size of General Sherman, the largest tree on Earth. The forest felt ancient and sacred, with sunlight filtering through the massive trunks. I hiked the Congress Trail and felt like I was walking through a cathedral of nature. Wildlife was abundant — I even spotted a black bear in the distance. The air was crisp, the smell of pine was everywhere, and the quiet was soul-refreshing. Sequoia National Park makes you realize just how small we are in the grand scheme of time.
