■ I liked this!
- The quiet atmosphere allowed me to slowly appreciate each artifact
- The special exhibition corners change frequently in addition to the permanent exhibition, so there is something different to see every time
- The viewing route is well-organized, so even if it is my first time, I was able to comfortably look around along the route
- The sunlight coming in through the large windows brightens the exhibition hall and makes it feel comfortable
■ Museum atmosphere
A neat and well-maintained garden welcomes you from the entrance, and the interior is spacious and not too crowded. The themed exhibition halls, such as the history museum and culture museum, are cozy and quiet, so I was able to view them without feeling burdened even if I visited alone.
■ Location & Directions
I arrived after walking for about 15 minutes from Exit 3 of Daeyeon Station. It is very close to the UN Memorial Park, so it was good to take a walk and see both places together, and the parking lot is also spacious, so it is convenient to use your own car. ■ Visiting tips
- Check the schedule of special exhibitions or educational programs on the museum website in advance
- It is relatively quiet in the afternoon, so you can visit leisurely
- After viewing, we recommend taking a break with a cup of coffee at the Peace Park right next door
■ Disappointing points
- Some of the exhibition explanations were short, so it was disappointing to fully understand the historical background
- There is no cafe or store inside, so you need to prepare simple snacks in advance
- It is closed on Mondays and public holidays, so you must check in advance
The Busan Museum is a useful space to spend time alone or with others. If you want to find Busan's various footsteps and culture, be sure to stop by!
