UN Memorial Park in the city center~

The UN Memorial Park, located in Daeyeon-dong, Nam-gu, Busan, is the world's only official UN cemetery that is constantly visited by foreign visitors. This place was created to honor the fallen soldiers of 11 countries who participated in the Korean War, and tourists of various nationalities visit here to reflect on the meaning of peace and sacrifice.

When you enter the park, the national flags of each country, various monuments, and well-organized graveyards create a peaceful atmosphere. In particular, the names of fallen soldiers engraved on the walls and the solemn memorial tower leave a deep impression, and most visitors take pictures or spend time quietly paying their respects. Information signs and explanatory materials are provided in multiple languages, including English, making it easy for foreign visitors to understand.
It is close to the city center, so it is easily accessible, and it is a special place where you can recall the historical significance of the Korean War as well as solidarity and peace in the international community. It is a valuable attraction that I would like to recommend to foreigners traveling to Busan.
