If you’re in Busan and looking for a quiet yet enriching spot, don’t miss the Busan Museum. Nestled near the UN Memorial Park, this museum takes you on an incredible journey through Korea’s ancient to modern history.

🏺 Why Visit?
From prehistoric relics and delicate pottery to traditional costumes and Joseon-era artefacts, every exhibit is beautifully displayed. The life-sized Turtle Ship replica was my favourite, giving a real sense of Admiral Yi’s naval power. I also loved the gallery showcasing Busan’s transformation into today’s vibrant port city.

🌿 Relaxing Outdoor Garden:
Step outside to find a peaceful traditional garden with stone pagodas and statues. It’s a perfect spot to take a break, reflect, and click some aesthetic photos.

💡 Travel Tips:
✔ Free entry – ideal for budget travellers
✔ Spend at least 1-2 hours to fully explore
✔ Combine your visit with the nearby UN Memorial Cemetery
✔ English signs are good, but a quick read about Korean history beforehand enhances the experience

Busan Museum isn’t crowded, so you can walk through calmly and soak in centuries of stories. For anyone keen to understand Korea beyond K-pop and markets, this place is a must.
