Haeundae Capsule Train Tour Guide

The Haeundae Blue Line Park Capsule Train is a must-do romantic experience in Busan. It's recommended to book the 5-6 pm service on the official website 7-10 days in advance. This allows you to avoid the scorching sun and catch a stunning sunset. The train departs from Cheongsapo Station (east-west, with the tracks facing the mountains) and Mipo Station (west-east, with the tracks facing the sea). Tickets are priced between 40,000 and 50,000 KRW for 2, 3, or 4 people. Visa and MasterCard payments are accepted.

It's recommended to depart from Cheongsapo Station for fewer crowds and no lines. Along the way, you can enjoy panoramic views of the azure sea, blue sky, and city coastline from a 7-10 meter high track. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Small tables are provided in the train compartments for snacks and a leisurely stroll. After disembarking, walk to the red and white lighthouse at Cheongsapo, known as "Little Kamakura," to capture the train's iconic scenes from Korean dramas. If you have more time, you can combine it with a coastal train ticket to experience the seascape from a ground-based train, offering a dual perspective from the air and on the ground.
