New Taipei Travel|One-Day Itinerary in Wulai

We decided to kick off our Wulai adventure from the most “magical” spot of all — Yun Hsien Resort! 🚠
Riding the cable car slowly up the mountain, we were surrounded by steep gorges on one side and a rushing river on the other. In just a few minutes, it felt like we had entered a fairyland — the name really says it all.
Inside the park, lush forest trails and a small lake where you can row a boat create a peaceful, nature-filled atmosphere. 📸🌲

After leaving the resort, we walked straight over to the Wulai Waterfall. Standing close to this 80-meter-tall cascade, the roar of the falling water was simply breathtaking. Then we hopped on the nostalgic little Wulai Tram, a short ride full of charm and vintage vibes, taking us straight to Wulai Old Street.

Wulai Old Street isn’t very long, but it’s packed with snacks and culture. Along the way, there’s the Atayal Museum where you can enjoy some air-conditioning and learn about indigenous culture. At the very end, near the Visitor Center, we found an outdoor foot-soaking pool — perfect for relaxing and refreshing our tired feet. ♨️
