Only at the end, it started raining heavily and everyone ended up getting wet 😭

This is Green Island and Kuranda near Cairns in Australia!

We went there during the rainy season in Cairns, so it was rainy and then cloudy on the day we arrived! We managed to avoid the rain while we were in the pool, but it started raining after we arrived at the hotel. 😢But on the other hand, I think we were lucky.

Cairns is where the famous Great Barrier Reef is, so I thought the sea around it would be beautiful, but that wasn't the case. On the contrary, the water was very murky and it didn't look like we could swim at all. 😅

It takes about 40 minutes by high-speed boat to get to Green Island, an island near Cairns! The weather was good while we were on Green Island that day, but it started pouring rain when we were heading back.

We were able to see a lot of rare plants in Kuranda!

At the end of Kuranda, it was featured on the TV show "From the Window of the World"! The train was great, but unfortunately it rained so I couldn't see much outside 😢
