Green Island from Cairns

The Great Barrier Reef can be reached by high-speed ferry from Cairns.

I decided to go to Green Island that day.

First, I went to the ferry terminal in Cairns at 8am.

This was probably my second time to Green Island.

I booked a tour in advance and went there.

I had an image of the ocean not being that clean, but when I went a little further offshore, I found a beautiful coral reef!

You can go there by adding an option to the tour.

If you can swim, you should definitely pay for it! You'll regret it if you don't.

Even if you can't swim, you can observe the ocean from a semi-submarine or a glass-bottom boat.
