Cairns, Australia is my favorite travel destination so far.

🌊 Great Barrier Reef
You can't miss the Great Barrier Reef when you come to Cairns! I chose a one-day tour to the sea. When the boat approached, the colorful corals and tropical fish under the blue sea were like a dream treasure box under the sea. When I was snorkeling, I felt like I was one with the sea, surrounded by all kinds of wonderful creatures that I couldn't name. I strongly recommend bringing a GoPro, as every shot is a beautiful picture that can be used as wallpaper!

🌄 Laputa: Castle in the Sky
Taking the Kuranda Scenic Cableway is like entering the Castle in the Sky by Hayao Miyazaki. Along the way, the greenery of the rainforest comes to you, and the mountains in the distance are shrouded in clouds and mist. When you arrive at Kuranda, the artistic shops will keep you shopping, and you can also taste authentic Australian food.

🦘 Atherton Tablelands
This is a treasure trove of nature! The plateau has crystal-clear volcanic lakes, and the lakeside is dense rainforest. If you're lucky, you might see wild kangaroos bouncing around on the grass. I also went to a local farm to taste fresh dairy products and experience the purest pastoral life.

Cairns is really a place that can satisfy all your fantasies about islands, rainforests, and countryside. Take advantage of the fact that there are not too many people now, and hurry up and arrange it!
