Cairo's Hanging Church

The Hanging Church, with a history of over 1,800 years, is considered the oldest church in Egypt. Located in the Coptic Old City of Cairo, it is built above the entrance of the Babylon Fortress from ancient Roman times. Through its glass floor, visitors can see the fortress beneath. The main hall is suspended above the southern gate of the ancient Babylon Fortress, creating a visual effect of floating in mid-air, hence the name "Hanging Church."
