Located in Cairo's Tahrir Square, the Egyptian Museum (commonly known as the Cairo Museum) is Egypt's largest museum, opened in 1902. 🏛️ Boasting a collection of over 200,000 artifacts, it's a must-visit spot for experiencing ancient Egyptian history! Tutankhamun's golden mask and throne are particularly impressive, and the dedicated exhibition room on the second floor is a must-see. 📸 The throne statue of Khafre and the mummy of Ramses II also add a sense of history. 🗿 The first floor is organized by dynasty, while the second floor is organized by theme, with a rich collection of hieroglyphs and papyrus. Admission is 300 EGP (approx. 1500 JPY) for adults and 150 EGP for students. We recommend taking a guided tour (starting from around 10,000 JPY) for the most efficient tour! The air conditioning inside the building is weak, so you'll need to stay for 3-4 hours, so bring water! 💧 Photography is allowed, but beware of tip requests. ⚠️ A 30-minute drive from Cairo Airport, it's comfortable in the spring and fall. 🌞 The exhibits are being relocated to the Grand Egyptian Museum, so now is the time to visit! A mysterious hall that will capture the hearts of history lovers! 😎💥
