#mytraveldiary My trip to the Cameron Highlands in Malaysia was like escaping into a cool, green paradise. Located high in the mountains, the air was fresh and misty — a perfect break from the tropical heat. The rolling hills were covered in endless rows of tea plantations, creating a view that looked like a beautiful green carpet stretching across the horizon.
I visited the famous BOH Tea Plantation, where I watched workers gently picking tea leaves by hand. The scent of fresh tea filled the air, and sipping a warm cup while overlooking the valley was one of the most relaxing moments of my journey. The strawberry farms were another highlight — I enjoyed picking fresh, sweet strawberries straight from the plants.
Cameron Highlands is also home to colorful flower gardens, peaceful walking trails, and charming English-style cottages. The night market in Brinchang was full of local treats like roasted corn, honey, and tea-flavored ice cream.
What I loved most was the calm atmosphere — no rush, just nature’s quiet beauty. The Cameron Highlands offered me a peaceful retreat filled with fresh air, scenic views, and simple joys. It’s a perfect destination for anyone seeking relaxation and a touch of nature’s magic.
