Xiaguan Old Street

Xiaguan Old Street is located in Xiaguan Town, Cangnan County. It faces the vast East China Sea to the east and Fuqing, Fujian to the west. It has beautiful scenery and is known as the "End of the World" in Zhejiang. The old street is backed by mountains and faces the sea. It has a long history and unique scenery. It has a profound anti-Japanese culture, port trade culture, Nanyang-style houses, old houses with historical imprints, and unique "Overseas Chinese Homes", reflecting a strong historical heritage.
The century-old streets and alleys near the pier have a strong sense of age, with bluestone roads, stilt houses, mottled stone steps, painted stone walls, and well-preserved distinctive buildings in Nanyang, Republican, and Islamic styles, coupled with the slow-paced life of the city. The blue and white Mediterranean-style buildings on the seaside hillside give the town a modern feel and European seaside style.
